Strikes/Lockouts/Disturbances Sub.: Disruption of plant operations at Budhana, Uttar Pradesh Pursuant to Regulation 30, Schedule III and other applicable regulations of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, we wish to inform that an accident occurred in Budhana Unit, Uttar Pradesh on Saturday 2.45 p.m, wherein, B- vacuum crystallizer fallen down resulting 2 no. of casualties, both were seasonal permanent workers.For restart of the plant, damaged injuction header & other equipments are to be replaced. Work has been started and will take 4 -5 days to restart the plant. Material already reached at site from Gangnauli unit. Standing cane gate and purchased cane at out centers has been diverted to Kinauni, Gangnauli and Thanabhawan unit since Saturday night, further cane purchasing has been stopped.
