Bosch expands development center, will invest 1,170 crores this year in India

The India unit of German auto component maker Bosch said it will invest Rs 1,170 crore in building technologies such as safety systems, anti-lock braking system (ABS) and the so called internet of things products. Today, India is home to the Bosch Group's largest development center outside of Germany. At the locations in Adugodi, Bangalore and in Coimbatore, the company employs over 14,000 research and development associates. This makes India an important hub for Bosch's global R&D network.
